Into The Spring"In Vernalis" is latin for "Into the Spring".

The original text was written in the dome of Postyr Project's home town, Aarhus, in the 14th century.

The melody is Finnish, but the song is now one of the most well-known songs in Aarhus, hench that fact that the bells from the tower of the City Council plays the melody every evening.
For many years, the song was sung every year on the first day of Spring, while the students of the Cathedral school brought wild flowers from the outskirts into the streets of the city. To this day the students at Aarhus Katedralskole sing the song on special occations and on graduation day.

The arrangement of Line Groth, Kristoffer Fynbo Thorning and Jacob Brøndlund takes us on a journey through time and presents how the pestilential cold of Winter burst into the playful ease of Spring.

Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Postyr Project would like to thank you all for supporting the project in this past year through ups and downs, on stage and with your comments and posts on facebook and twitter in between the concerts and tours.
2011 was most definetely a year to remember for all the members of the group both personally and profesionally.
Never before had there been so much travelling, pressure, working hours, business meetings, and new things to learn, and never before had there been so much energy, determination, good laughs, mindblowingness and musical emotion between the five friends.
2011 was also the year where Postyr Project started the process of changing from a "Do.It.Yourself" to a "Do.It.Together" Project. This development has not reached it's full potential yet, and everyone in the group looks forward to continue the collaboration with Florian Städtler and everyone at SpielPLANVier and to kick off the companionship with several new business partners first thing in 2012.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all from Postyr Project.

The song is available for free download.
"I Can't Sleep" is written by Kristoffer Fynbo Thorning and features Anders Hornshoej on lead, a kalimba and electric beats. The lyrics of the song is among other things inspired by Joni Mitchell's song "River" with it's melancholy reflection on the season of sharing, giving and spending time with families and friends seen from the perspective of someone, who is not really a part of it.

Opening act Opening act at Schalotte Postyr Project is happy to announce Berlin newcomer group Soundappeal as the opening act of the Café Theater Schalotte gig on December 2nd.
The six a cappella rockers of Soundappeal pay particular attention to the variety in sound and color. Thisimpression is intensified by the constantly changing lead singers and a great variation in the song selection. The six musicians have several own compositions in their repertoire as well.
Manuel Stangorra from the online newspaper "Echo online" was impressed with soundappeals appearance at the "Nacht der Stimmen" in Darmstadt:
"When seeing soundappeal the listener felt that their roots lie in Berlin's Disco-Scene. How easily the six were moving and dancing on stage and how rich their trained voices came over was impressive Wheter a medley of "Die Ärzte" and effect-machine like "Poison" or the explosive "Pechpilz"-song: Sound and the attitude towards life form a unity!"
Thanks to all the groups that applied, and to everyone who suggested subjects for this event.

Stoy Musical Fashion On Friday September 2nd the fashion shop Stöy/Munkholm switches the clothings in the display windows with live music. On this day you can get a view of the group Postyr Project, who will exhibit themselves. Normally, there is a distance between the musician and the audience by virtue of a scene. What happens when you replace this scene with a double layer of glass? What happens when musicians play the role of mannequins ready to be gazed upon? The Aarhus Festuge provides a concept, the fashion boutique Stöy/Munkholm provides the windows and the vocal electro group Postyr PROJECT their music in an attempt to break down the solid forms of the concert.
