Remix
We are very proud to present the people who put a lot of time and effort in remixing the tracks from our EP (June'10).It has been a great inspiration to us to hear the new versions of the songs.
Thank you!
junkuhn.
Berlin born Junkuhn started to collect records at the early age of 7 spending his first pocket money. While listening to them on his dad's stereo in late '93 he had a groundbreaking experience when he listened to Jeff Mills in the Berliner Tresor who was mixing on 3 decks a keyboard and a 909. That was pure live music, just like a band would perform, he says. At the end of '98 Junkuhn decided to move to London. After setting up his own studio there ('Catrax'), he established himself as a versatile producer and remixer reaching from down-tempo groovy house over break beats to funky, pumping techno. He returned in mid 2006 to DJ-ing and playing live, pushing the digital DJ revolution of today forward using Ableton Live & Traktor Pro. He is also co-creator, program manager and resident DJ of the electronic music club 'SONICLAB', established in 2007, Bratislava. He returned to his hometown Berlin in 2008. He is now a resident DJ of Farbfernseher, Berlin and a member of the DJ team 'manjana-junkuhn' (established in 2011), and he's continuing the FREAKED party series / DJ-ing.Learn more here.
Jake Moulton
Born in Seattle, Washington, Jake Moulton has been performing professionally for almost 20 years. Mimicking the sounds of a drum kit, as well as utilizing the more organic sounds inherent in beatboxing, Jake has created a style all his own; a driving, technical style that makes his work with vocal groups, bands, and as a soloist powerful and successful. In addition to beatboxing for The House Jacks, Jake has shared the stage with many of the music industry's greatest talents, including Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Herbie Hancock, Sheryll Crow, Boys II Men, and the New York Voices. When he's not performing, however, Jake focuses much of his energy toward songwriting, music production, commercial sound effects, and both group and individual instruction.
The remix of "Go! Don't Stop!" is produced by Jake Moulton and mixed by Roopal Ahuja.
Please help spread the word about these two guys to other European groups looking for producer teams.
If there's anything else you wanna know about Jake ask him yourself. You can learn more here.
